LET KIDS HELP WITH COOKING!
The holiday break is almost here.
Even though your child may be too young to operate the stove, there are plenty of ways to have fun with literacy and cooking.
Try these tips to keep your child engaged with literacy (and math) over the holidays. Help your child:
read the recipe
gather the ingredients
measure the ingredients
keep track of the cooking time
write about the experience in their journal
Be sure to have fun, savor the meal, and enjoy creating precious memories with your child!

Until next time, I wish you love, laughter and, literacy!
