The Reading Calendar Highlights
Here are some special challenge days to look forward to during July!
Day 6: Favorite Book Spotlight
Choose a book you love and write one sentence explaining why it’s your favorite.
Day 9: Vocabulary Hunt (Round 1)
Pick 5 new words from today’s reading and write down their definitions.
Day 16: Library Day!
Visit your local library and ask the librarian to help you pick a book in a brand-new genre.
Day 18: Page to Screen
Read a book that was made into a movie and compare them OR write your own movie pitch for your favorite book!
Day 21: Alternate Ending
Get creative! Write a brand-new, different ending for your favorite book.
Day 23: Vocabulary Hunt (Round 2)
Pick 5 new words from any book you've read this month. Write the definition and use each one in your own original sentence.
