Ms. KP Carter, M.Ed. is a certified Reading Specialist. She has 35 years of experience in Education as a Classroom Teacher, Supervisor, Director of Language Arts and Testing and an Adjunct Professor of Reading and Writing. She is also the author of 2 middle-grade novels.

Between monitoring virtual learning lessons, homeschooling, and balancing hybrid learning experiences, parents are looking for ways to prevent learning loss, boost their child’s reading skills, and support the love of reading. 10 Steps to Reading Success was created to help parents in their efforts to meet the challenge.


10 Steps to Reading Success is a 60-minute virtual workshop. Evidence-based literacy practices will be shared that may be adopted right away.  Participants will experience the following topics:
